Pierre de Peyronnet, publisher of Be-in-Charge.fr (hereafter referred to as “Be-in-Charge”) is committed to following the E-U regulation to maintain the privacy of personal information that you provide when using Be-in-Charge. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information received about you when you visit or subscribe to the Services, is treated.
We may make content or services from other websites including our affiliated or co-branded websites available to you from links located on the Services. These other websites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. It is recommended that you review the privacy policy at each such website to determine how that site protects your privacy.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Information We Collect

General: When you register, and at other times, we will collect personally identifiable information from you. This information may include your name, age, address, e-mail address, credit-card number and facts about your computers, profession, proficiency level in English and Marketing and similar information. We do not, however, knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

How We Use Information Collected

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The Discussion/Exercise sections of Be-in-Charge.fr provides an opportunity for you to receive some feedback on your progresses. When you use our Exercise features (for example, by filling in answers
to exercises), we may make public any information you provide excluding your name, location and e-mail address.

We offer you the opportunity to choose whether to receive certain communications from us at the time you give us your personally identifiable information.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

You may review and update the personally identifiable information/registration information that you have provided to us by contacting Customer Service at support@be-in-charge.fr. Most subscribers to Be-in-Charge.fr may also update their information by editing their Profile Page.

Where we send your data

Your information may be stored and processed in the E-U or any other country where Pierre de Peyronnet has activities, and by subscribing to our services, you consent to the transfer of information outside
of your country.
