A search on the Internet returns:
“A Compliance Issue is a suspected violation of a law, regulation, policy…”

GDPR Project Management is embedded into compliance issue through the concept of “privacy by design”.
Today we defined the scope and we can now work on the project time-line. The project is on schedule. The scope is about making an account of every transaction to make sure that we are in compliance with the regulations. We must cover all the deals and check the names on the deals with the names on a list provided by a governmental agency. The deals corresponding to the names on the list need to be blocked.
The noun “deal” in a business context has different meanings!
“Deal” should be replaced with a word that avoids any ambiguity.
Here we recommend: transaction

The project is worldwide! We try to manage the project using appropriate human resources. The headquarters for the project are located in Paris. And locally there are teams doing the ground work. We communicate by e-mail, and sometimes we have to pick-up the phone and talk through the details. Phone calls are followed by emails for confirmation purposes.
“The project is Worldwide” may bring some confusion:
- The project deals with clients all around the world.
But, the original sentence focuses on the human resources involved on the project!
To avoid any confusion, we recommend:
The scale of the project is worldwide!
Using the word scale enables to focus on the operation running the project.
